I think its safe to say that 2009 has been a bit of a rough year for most of us. Things are tough right now. Its been tough in our house as well, but its also a good kick in the pants to remind me of what is truly important, and WHO is truly important in my life. With Mother's Day coming up, I'm especially thinking of that bond between moms & their kids. Its true that you really dont know how much your mom loves you until you have children of your own who torture you, test your nerves, and you keep loving them anyway. Yesterday I had a rough day - bills, kids, work, all the pressures of daily life coming down at once. Then, there was a knock at the door and a smiling man in a brown uniform handed me these gorgeous tulips (my favorite!). The note inside was from my mom, wishing me a happy mothers day. Yes, my mom sending ME flowers for mothers day. Its like she just knew that I needed a little boost - the timing couldn't have been better. Thanks mom, I love you and miss you!Thursday, May 7, 2009
